An introduction to CRM, customer relationship management, Prophet, and ACT 2005.

CRM, or customer relationship management, is among the highest goals for any company. Small businesses are always thriving for additional sales, as are large corporations. One way that companies can maximize their CRM is with a Prophet software program. Prophet, which is available through Avidian, is the leading CRM program for companies, even beating the competition, ACT 2005.

ACT 2005 is Prophet’s competitor.

It is well known that Prophet and ACT 2005 are competitive programs. However, it is Prophet that surpasses ACT 2005 in sales, as well as production. There are many features that Prophet can provide that ACT 2005 cannot. Such features where Prophet is prevalent and ACT 2005 fails to succeed is at the usage of Outlook, generating sales from Outlook, as well as all of the versions of Outlook that is supported on computer programs.

Although ACT 2005 runs via Outlook, it is not as functional as Prophet is.

Prophet is operational through Outlook, a program that is already installed on many computers. Although ACT 2005 can operate their programs through Outlook, it can not function in full capacity as Prophet can. For instance, ACT 2005 must synchronize their software with Outlook in order for the program to be operational. This is not the case with Prophet. Unlike ACT 2005, Prophet does not call for the downloading of any additional information or replacement of such. Instead, Prophet will only enhance the Outlook program whereas ACT 2005 fails to do so.

Sales are harder to receive with ACT 2005.

As previously mentioned, sales are among the top priority for companies. Sales generate profit, which in turn is addition revenue for the company and its workers. Prophet thrives to create a highly and fully functional CRM program for sales. Sales can be created through Outlook with Prophet. The same holds true for ACT 2005. With ACT 2005, however, there are few instances where ACT 2005 is not fully functional for sales. Prophet offers its users the freedom to send sales through the inbox of the Outlook program. This function is not available with ACT 2005. On ACT 2005, sales opportunities are only available through the main program itself, and not through the entire program as a whole. Many clients and companies find this highly tedious on ACT 2005. The abilities of functions are limited in ACT 2005, whereas Prophet shines time and again with its functions. Workers that are utilizing ACT 2005 are often frustrated with the program, as it can not generate sales through Outlook’s inbox, which is not only easy, but helps to save time that can be generated elsewhere for sales.

ACT 2005 can only be supported through certain Outlook programs, whereas Prophet is always functional.

ACT 2005 only supports a limited amount of the CRM through its Outlook program. ACT 2005 hosts its CRM software through Outlook, but only in the versions 2000, 2002, and through XP. Prophet, unlike ACT 2005, can create sales not only through the inbox of Outlook, but can also maintain the compatibility to host it for Outlook 2000, 2002,2003, and XP. Due to the high compatibility that Prophet has for its program on computers, there is a higher probability that a business will purchase the Prophet program over the ACT 2005 program.

ACT 2005 proves difficult to handle sales.

With ACT 2005, it is difficult to manage sales. This is not to say that sales can not be managed with ACT 2005. However, with ACT 2005, any sales that are created must be done outside of the Outlook program, and then transferred over to the software for downloading. This is not the case with Prophet. Unlike ACT 2005, Avidian’s Prophet can create sales in the Outlook program, which saves a considerable amount of time. ACT 2005 also pales in comparison to Avidian’s Prophet, as it lacks the compatibility to handle multiple tasks in the Outlook program. Prophet, on the other hand, can not only multi-task sales in the program, but it can also create notes, which can be referred to with future transactions.

ACT 2005 is only operational with certain programs, unlike Prophet, which can be added to Outlook.

Prophet is a CRM software program that is highly reliable. Not only is it compatible with Outlook, which is already downloaded in many computers, but it can be used on a Palm Pilot as well. ACT 2005 lacks not only a lot of the luster with their program, but it is not always compatible to function off of a Palm Pilot. Those companies that have used ACT 2005 have reported that information is often lost while downloading, a problem that does not arise with Prophet. Due to this very reason, companies that try to operate their CRM effectively with ACT 2005 have found that they are unsuccessful. Such instances have turned away many potential clients for ACT 2005. These acts of rejection by clients have proven time and again that Prophet is the customer relationship management software to beat.

ACT 2005 often looses information while downloading.

Prophet has shown its customers that it is CRM software that is highly reliable as well as functional. Although ACT 2005 is indeed functional, there are a lot of glitches in the program, which creates for more headaches than sales. As word spreads about Prophet’s top of the line CRM software, there will be more and more ACT 2005 customers that will turn to Prophet. Prophet has not only won awards for its CRM software, but it has often surpassed ACT 2005 for other achievements. As the popularity for the Prophet software is more recognizable, there will be no denying that ACT 2005 will have to up the ante for their software, too.

A summary of Prophet’s higher compatibility than ACT 2005.

As long as ACT 2005 continues to sell a product that is not fully functional, Prophet will have a product that will be superior to ACT 2005. This, actually, is what Prophet thrives on. There is little chance that ACT 2005 will ever have the selling power and positive clientele feedback that Prophet has. To compare the ACT 2005 against Prophet is like night and day. Although ACT 2005 is functional, it will never be what Prophet’s software program will be in the future. With more and more companies owners choosing Prophet for their CRM work over ACT 2005, there is no denying that ACT 2005 will always have a run for their money.
