Jeepumps is Centrifugal pump manufacturer which is similar to rotodynamic pump that uses a rotating impeller to increase the pressure and flow of a fluid. They use smaller heads to let out large amount of fluid through piping systems. Centrifugal pump works on Bernoulli’s principle which converts the rotational kinetic energy to an increased static (active) fluid pressure. According to this principle when the pump rotates, kinetic energy is imparted to the fluid which forces it out from the eye of the impeller to its vanes to the periphery. When the fluid exits the impeller it converts the kinetic energy to static pressure due to the change in area it experiences in the volute section, this conversion increases pressure on the rear end of the pump, causing flow.

Centrifugal pump consisting of one impeller is known as single stage centrifugal pump while centrifugal pumps using more than one impeller are known as multistage centrifugal pump. These pumps help in producing a higher pressure head when connected in series and discharge a larger quantity of liquid when connected in parallel.

A submersible sewage pump uses airtight sealed motor closely combined to the body of the pump to avoid the entry of microorganisms and other foreign bodies. This is done in order to maintain the proper functioning and reliability of its contents when it is submerged in the fluid to be pumped.

The main advantage of this pump is it avoids pump cavitation which is the major threat associated with a high elevation difference between pump and the fluid surface. Cavitation is the formation of vapour bubbles of a flowing liquid in a region where the pressure of the liquid falls below its vapour pressure which results in damage to the pump as the vaporization occurs inside the pump body.
