Can You Increase Sales by 50% in 5 Minutes?

One of the best books I have read was Dale Carnegie's classic "How to Win Friends and Influence People". The other is "The Relationship Edge in Business: Connecting with Customers and Colleagues When It Counts" by Jerry Acuff and Wally Wood. Both these books talk about becoming genuinely interested in others and to take time to appreciate their business. Keeping in touch today with friends ,family and prospects is tough. There is so much noise, so many other things to do and then there is the expense. Most people would throw their hands in the air with the resignation that it's just too hard. But is it really? In today's competitive world differentiation is what sets you apart. Either as a friend, family member, business partner or company, saying "Thank You" allows you to share your genuine and sincere gratitude. Being genuinely interested is a key differentiator in selling client value. Clients devour conducting business with those they can trust and respect. There is a lot of ways to keep in touch with people today. One of the simplest methods to appreciate people is a simple, genuine and personal Thank You Card. Prospective clients are overwhelmed with a emails, letters and other ridiculous correspondence. The amount of email communication has been a pain to many. As such, direct mail is back on the rise. According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics direct mail in the United States has increased so the suggestion is to follow the trend. Use the United States Postal Service to send correspondence to clients and refrain from all the electronic correspondence. Professionals that are different are memorable. Electronic mail comes and goes but printed copy and hand written cards last. Although you might save email on your hard disk, they are do not remain in sight very long. However, cards and postcards are placed on counter tops, refrigerators, credenzas, bookshelves and desks- within view of the friends, family, prospective client, management, even competitors! These intimate economical cards provide a level of differentiation in today's competitive market. Family and friends and excited to open up cards yet the are rarely sent except the occasional birthday card. What if you sent a heartfelt card to the people that have or are making a difference in your life? How do you think they would feel? How do you think you will feel when you get the call that they received your card? Imagine what it could do when you sent a friend or family member a note out of the blue and it only took about 5 minutes to do it! Your best option in sending a card is a new service called Send Out Cards. It takes minutes to setup and seconds to send a personalized greeting card or post card with your own message! It is a service using the latest tools on the internet that allow you send out a Hallmark quality card, personalized with your own signature using a real USPS stamp. This is a great tool to help you get the cards sent out on time, not having to worry about missing those important dates. It makes it easy to enter a new prospect and the system sends out your card for you. Send Out Cards will print it, stuff it and mail it for you all at a cost less than it would be at a greeting card store. For Personal or Business Enter your birthdays, Pick a card and write a note (or use one that we already have) days, month's or years in advance of the date. The system knows when to send the card and it will arrive on time! For Business Run a campaign to thank your clients or send your latest prospects a note. It automates the sending but allows it to continue to be personal. Be the remembered provider of a service or product and do it with less time invested and money. Imagine the work saved for you at Christmas time, sending out your cards, with even a family picture if you like, with just a click. Imagine the time, work and money saved in using the tool to help Not-for-profits build better relationships with their donors. In addition to thank you notes, other personal written gestures include: 1. Introductory card prior to a cold call or visit 2. Follow up Appreciated Meeting You card for proposals and contracts 3. Appreciated Your Note from a client 4. Thank you for visiting the Open House 5. Appreciate your Business 6. Many other relationship correspondence If you truly illustrate your genuine interest in others and better relationships. If you desire more sales with less labor, start sending cards as your main form of written correspondence. If you truly want more business and want clients to find you- there is a need to be different. Selling is not about money- it is about creating a great relationships with clients that speak highly about you creating a flow of business in your direction.
