If sales is your career then you would not be new to Cold Calling. Cold calling was one of the most effective way of identifying and attracting new customers. The magic formula which helped lot of classic companies to emerge as leader and increase their reach in market. Low cost, maximum out put was one of the reasons why cold calling was the favorite piece of function for many businesses.
Today, has the scenario changed? Is it still the first love for the business to attract new customer. The answer is hard but a reality, a truth but painful. It's not one of the dream function anymore. The reasons are few, cold calling is not anymore a way to raise curiosity among businesses but decision maker view it as a pain. It's not viewed as value addition anymore but a hurdle in business operation.
So whats the call? The cold calling has lost its original charm but its not out. The hit ratio has
