INFLUENCE OF GRAVITY ON BIO ACTIVITIES
It is an accepted fact that full moon and new moon have the power to affect human mind and behaviour. My son who is a schizophrenic, now fully rehabilitated, and told me that moonlight used to irritate him when he was ill. The word lunatic is derived from the moon; normally we enjoy the moonlit night which brings romantic (not in the vulgar sense) mood even in a very old man like me! Some of the observed behaviour patterns are described below:
If, on new moon day, the cow cries, without any cause, the farmer will get it "served". Accidents on account of "human failure" happen more during full moon new moon days or near those days. Bees get drunk on full moon days and make merry! The root of a sapling grows towards centre of the earth and the shoot in reverse direction, even when the seed is planted one foot deep in the earth! When we swing in a cradle, neutralizing gravity, we relax and easily fall asleep (not babies only). It would be useful to measure tension before and after half an hour of swinging. In the absence of gravity, in space station, development of seeds (division of fertilized egg of plant) is affected. Human beings, because they remain in erect position for a long time of the day, are subjected to gravitational pull, causing pressure in the abdomen, as the diaphragm is being pulled down, and continuously. This is unhealthy and may result in complications like hernia. If you are shaving at noon, more blood is likely to flow from a small cut because of the extra gravitational force of the sun. It is well known that the sun and moon are associated with tides tsunami etc. The slight changes in gravitational field of the earth induce mechanical movements and we cannot rule out the possibility of biological activities being controlled by not only the sun and moon but also gigantic planets like Jupiter which can affect gravitational field.(Hindus offer special pooja at the time of transition of Jupiter from one moon station to another, which happens every year, because of the belief that its influence will remain for the whole year! I have collected some data about earthquakes and it is found that in more than 60 % cases, it happens within 3 days of full moon /new moon-see booklet -BOLD UNFETTERED THINKING -VOL-1)
It is desirable to have a number of stations around the world to monitor overall gravitational field every moment, throughout, like seismographs. Later on, we can correlate these measurements with accidents of different types, to draw conclusions.
STUDY OF GRAVITY
In our college, the teacher taught us that the value g (acceleration due to gravity) is constant; 32 feet per sec per sec.Problems relating to pendulum were worked out accordingly.
Recently, I learned about gravimeters (I have not seen it) capable of measurement of height to 3 mm accuracy. I am not certain whether I express it properly. When we move up, the pull of gravity decreases, according to Newton's formula :(mass1 x mass2) divided by distance squared. Note that the division is by square of the distance. So the gravity measured at the top of a 100 storey building will be much less than g recorded at the ground floor. In fact, after every step g must come down. In other words, the time taken by a freely falling body to cover the whole distance from top to bottom will have to be worked out according to a new formula, taking into account the change in value of g after every second!
A simple experiment can be con ducted by dropping an iron ball from the ceiling of the top floor. The speed can be measured as in a cricket ball, being shown in TV. Similar experiment can be repeated in the ground floor. Compare the two data.
That is not the end of the trouble. Our earth is moving at a speed of more than 10412 miles per hour at the equator, gradually decreasing to zero at the pole. The centrifugal force resulting from this rotation works in a direction opposite to g. Therefore, a c factor will have to be involved in calculating the net value of g. Gravitational pull of giant planets like Jupiter, too, must be considered. All these things are easy for our computer boys who must work in close collaboration with astrophysicists, for designing digital gravimeters of very high accuracy, if we want to study the effect of gravity on bio activities. .
Value of g thus calculated, should be recorded continuously, like a seismograph.

Drug Induced “SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS”
By: Arjun Modi | 02/01/2010“SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS” which is scientifically termed as anterograde amnesia is . The term can be understood as loss of memory after traumatic accidents because of severe mechanical injury. The patients with anterograde amnesia possess only non-declaritive (procedural) memory and losses declaritive memory. It is one of the important neuro-degenerative disorder specifically affecting hypocampus. It may be produced by ACh-Dopamine neurotransmitter imbalance or severe injury to hypocampus. Recent
Are Governments around the world hiding Bird Flu Vacine?
By: Paul Ingersole | 01/01/2010There are several different strains of Bird Flu and throughout the years different medications including Amantadine, Rimantadine, Oseltamavir, and Zanamavir were administered. A Bird Flu vaccine was developed in 2006 by scientists at the University of Pittsburgh.

What do you know about the amazing Moon?
By: Paul Ingersole | 31/12/2009The Moon is also something that has a lot of importance from a cultural standpoint. Some cultures and religions use the Moon to help determine certain spiritual things and even the time. Some cultures in more primitive societies used clues from the environment to help determine the passing of time.
What do you Know about the Moons Phases?
By: Paul Ingersole | 31/12/2009Despite the fact that the moon looks as if it changes appearance during these phases, that is actually not the case. The moon always stays the same shape. The only thing that changes is the way the light hits it.
So how does a Moon Orbit actually happen?
By: Paul Ingersole | 31/12/2009A good first step is to read an encyclopedia article about the moon. The encyclopedia is designed to give you an overview of what the subject is all about. You can get basic facts such as what the moon is, what it is made of, the gravity on the moon, orbit information, and other facts that are essential to helping you understand the moon.
