During the examination of hygiene and sanitary module cage of the car, its strength under the loading of vertical, linear and profile forces in conformity with the standard design conditions has been estimated. The finite-element model was being developed in parts, which were being constructed and digitized simultaneously by several specialists and then were framed into one unit. Such approach in this case is the most practical because of very high complexity of representation the cage construction in the model. Usable model is a complex one: elements of different types - plates, beams and special elements for the bolt clamp - have been used in it. Calculation has been done in the nonlinear formulation, which allowed to ascertain the stress thickeners condition and to improve the cage construction through changing the position of some elements.
