Anti virus360remover Happens To Be One of the Oldest Cons Around

P.T. Barnum once said, “There’s a sucker born every minute,” and the scammers behind Anti virus360remover have set out to prove it. Though Anti virus360remover is a rogue application, it is actually a little different from your run of the mill fake program, sort of.

Now don’t get me wrong, Anti virus360remover is in many ways the same as every other rogue application floating around the Internet. It can infect computers with the help of trojans, just like every other rogue application. Anti virus360remover also produces bogus scans and other popups that are designed to con the user of an infected computer into buy a full version of this worthless software.

What makes this one unique, if only slightly so, is the name. As some people very well know, there is a very dangerous rogue application known as Antivirus 360. This parasite is part of a larger family of rogue applications known as MS Antivirus. This group of rogue applications is such a problem that there is even a Wikipedia page for it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_Antivirus.

As you can see there is no loyalty among thieves. One group of prolific con artists develops a scam and another group of hacks try to capitalize on it. All in all none of these rogue applications are any good and thanks to legitimate protection programs many of them are being stop faster than they were a few years ago. With any luck we will not have to deal with these problematic programs much longer.

Until the risk associated with rogue applications completely goes away though, it is wise to protect yourself from these infections. The best way to protect your self is with a reliable malware protection and removal program. The time has come and gone when people could count on their virus protection programs to completely protect them. In today’s rapidly expanding realm of malware, users need to have several different types of protection programs installed to prevent infections.

When looking for a program to protect your computer from all types of malware, remember that there are as many rogue applications as there are real ones. Make sure you do a bit a research before you install any type of malware protection program.

Another thing to consider when shopping for malware protection is that some of the most well know names are targets of some of the worst types of malware on the Internet. It is not that uncommon for the trojans associated with Anti virus360remover to block some of the biggest names in virus protection. Just because a particular software producer has been around for decades does not mean their product is any good and stopping malware, which brings us to guarantees.

It is not worth installing a malware protection program if they cannot guarantee that their software will do what it is supposed to. This is why it is so important to install a program that is 100% guaranteed to keep you computer safe. Don’t get suckered into trusting any program that will not offer a 100% guarantee. If you can’t get a guarantee you might as well install a rogue application, at least you know what type of protection you will get from them.
