Antivirus 2009 is Bad News!

If you've recently had Antivirus 2009 pop up on your computer, you're probably wondering where it came from.  Did somebody else do you a favor by downloading some helpful security software on your computer?

Regenerate. Many people have thought they've removed Antivirus 2009, only to have it show up again when they restarted their computer!  This is because it will hide multiple files in multiple places (often very sensitive places like DLL files and registry keys).  You can really screw up your computer if you delete some of these.

It's easy to miss one or more of the files it's hiding on.  If you do, the program will regenerate itself again, the next time you start your computer!
