Antivirus Plus Gets You Down

It doesn’t take much these days to be taken advantage of. Take a look at anything from infomercials to gas prices and you will be convinced that this world is full of scam artists and swindlers. It used to be that the solace of one’s home could provide a refuge from the ill motives of selfish individuals. However, with the inception of computers, scam artists now have the ability to enter our very living rooms. As such, we have to do our part to protect ourselves from being scammed. This article is designed to provide information on one of the internet’s biggest categories of scams – rogue antispyware programs. More specifically, this article will provide you with information on antivirus plus. Anti virus plus has been getting a lot of innocent individuals down lately, and my hope is that you can arm yourself with good information and avoid being the next unsuspecting victim.

Here is the gist of how antivirus plus works: It alleges to remove spyware from your system. If you are unaware of what spyware is it is not something that you want to have on your system. It tracks and records your every movement on the computer. In doing so, spyware creates a host of problems for you. In tracking your web activity spyware gathers data and then sends you targeted advertisements in the form of unsolicited pop ups based on this data. Spyware can also collect personal financial information such as credit card numbers. It then relays this information to scam artists with the intent of stealing your identity. Believe me when I tell you that having your identity stolen is not something you want to go through.

While spyware is on your system it does not function quite like you want it to. Interestingly enough, a computer infected with antivirus plus operates in much of the same fashion as a computer infected with other types of spyware. Here is what you may experience if your computer is infected with antivirus plus:  It will run very slowly because your system’s capacities are being hijacked to operate the spyware. You will receive innumerable pop up advertisements. Add-ons will be installed to your system without your consent. You will be redirected to undesirable web sites. In short, you will not enjoy the time you spend on your computer system.

The catch with antivirus plus is that it tries to trick you into believing that it is the solution to your problem and not the problem itself. It will tell you that unless you download the full version of antivirus plus you will face serious threats to your system. This is deceiving because there may be no real threat to your system at all. Rather, antivirus plus tells you about fictitious threats to incite you to download their product. The malfunctioning you are experiencing is probably due to the antivirus plus itself. So by downloading the full version of antivirus plus you are ultimately paying the very source of your problem.

If you receive pop up advertisements from antivirus plus you need to find a real solution.
