Defend Your PC from WinPC Antivirus

There are many reasons why you should have your computer properly protected with a quality antispyware application, and WinPC Antivirus is one of them. If you don’t properly protect your computer now, then it could become overrun with spyware, adware, Trojan horses, worms, spy cookies, and fake security applications seeking to steal your money. Get a trustworthy antispyware program today and save yourself a bunch of trouble tomorrow.

WinPC Antivirus is a rogue antivirus program, which means that it pretends to be helpful when really it is destructive. Not only does this application cause your computer to slow down, hinder your Internet connection, deliver pop-ups, and change your browser settings, but it also tries to charge you money for these nefarious services. Many people fall for the scam, but you don’t have to be one of them.

Infection usually occurs through a Trojan horse, though it is possible to manually download it. The Trojan horse infects the computer through infected emails, tainted downloads, or rogue websites that exploit security holes in the browser. Once the Trojan has infected the computer secretly, it downloads the rogue program without the user’s knowledge or consent.

Once it has been installed, it will begin harassing the user with pop-up warning messages. These messages tell the user that their computer has been infected with viruses. The user is then told that they should let it scan the system in order to find the threats and remove them.

What is horrible is that the scan that is performed yields completely fraudulent results. The threats that are listed are made up and only used to scare the user into buying the full version. However, what is even worse is that the full version doesn’t do anything to remove any real threats or protect it from future invasions. Therefore, WinPC Antivirus should be removed at the first sign of infection and its deception should not be tolerated.

Removing the program manually is an option, but it isn’t a very good one. Taking all of the time to find all of the files and folders belonging to WinPC Antivirus is just inefficient. Besides, even if you manually removed it, it could just be reinstalled by the Trojan that did it in the first place. That is why a trustworthy antispyware application is so very important. It can do in minutes what would take you hours, and it can do the job more efficiently and completely.

When looking for an antispyware program to protect your computer, you should take a few things into consideration. Firstly, you should do some research on the company that makes the program. If there is little or no information on the company, then the antispyware is probably a scam. You should also make sure that they offer unlimited customer service just in case something goes wrong. But what is very important is that the antispyware should be guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. If the antispyware you are considering can’t meet up to these standards, then it isn’t worth buying.
