So your computer has been infected with malware. You are probably looking for a good and cheap way to get rid of it. But before you download a free malware remover I will caution you about a couple things first.
- A LOT of free malware/spyware/adware removers are in fact dangerous and malicious programs themselves! They operate under the disguise they will eliminate malware but just install more onto your system. Consider this – the #1 reason malware gets on your computer in the first place is through free and low cost programs installed on your computer. You know the saying “there is no free lunch”? - Many free malware remover programs lack the infrastructure and support to fight new malware threats. Unfortunately in today’s anti malware industry the software is largely reactive. This is the nature of the industry as new malware threats are constantly being created and evolving.
