Free Malware Remover – Read This Before You Download a Free Malware Remover

So your computer has been infected with malware. You are probably looking for a good and cheap way to get rid of it. But before you download a free malware remover I will caution you about a couple things first.

  1. A LOT of free malware/spyware/adware removers are in fact dangerous and malicious programs themselves! They operate under the disguise they will eliminate malware but just install more onto your system. Consider this – the #1 reason malware gets on your computer in the first place is through free and low cost programs installed on your computer. You know the saying “there is no free lunch”? Well that quote also sometimes applies to the free software market. Software requires money to develop and in order to recoup the costs companies will pay the developer to place their targeted advertisements (adware) inside the program. So when you install it, suddenly you start receiving those annoying pop up ads. Even worse, some software contains spyware (a form of malware) which will simply steal information from your computer. Download these programs at your own risk!

  1. Many free malware remover programs lack the infrastructure and support to fight new malware threats. Unfortunately in today’s anti malware industry the software is largely reactive. This is the nature of the industry as new malware threats are constantly being created and evolving. The only way to stay on top of them is through a company that will provide constant updates and increases to their threat database. Many free malware removers don’t have this in place and very quickly become obsolete.

If malware is becoming a serious problem with your computer I would caution you not to take it lightly. You need to fight fire with fire and that means using the most powerful and sophisticated malware/spyware/adware removal programs on the internet. I speak from experience as my entire computer and hard drive were destroyed by various spyware and malware threats. This included gigabytes of music and other media files that took me years to acquire. If I had spent a few dollars on a decent malware remover this problem would have never happened. Personally, I won’t let that happen again.

If you are interested I have created a website that details some of the best malware removers available. You can even see which one I consider to be the #1 program for removing all malware, spyware, adware, and anti-virus threats
