How to Remove Spyware XP Guard

Spyware XP Guard is a rough antivirus removal tool. This nasty program is mainly coded by hackers who do not care about your privacy and security and want to make money at any cost.

It usually infects the computer through malicious websites and Trojans. Once it enters into your system, it automatically inserts itself into the registry and starts running whenever you start the computer. It will constantly disturb you with pop up ads and spyware warnings. It will constantly try to insist you to run a fake security scan and ultimately make you purchase the completely bogus version of a fake antivirus removal tool. It is an attempt to scam and rob you off your money. If you get afraid with the fake scan result that says you have virus infection and buy the full version instead of removing viruses it will invite more viruses and spyware and further damage your PC.

How do you know that your PC is infected with this spyware? It is a million dollar question now. There are some indications such as slow PC, irritating pop-unders or popups, home page or a new search page or new bizarre desktop icons which you may see once the PC gets infected with this spyware.

Once you are able to trace this nasty software in your system you should immediately try and remove it either manually or automatically. If you want to delete it manually you should remove the system files: spywarewxpguard.exe, along with both the instances with the name of virus in the Settings folder and Documents and Start programs/menu folder.

You also need to delete the registry values which contain the name spyware xp guard in the directory: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

If you are a beginner or not quite familiar with the process you should try to remove this nasty spyware automatically. You may also take help from a reputed online PC support company where a skilled technician can help you to execute the entire process successfully. Online PC support technicians not only help to remove virus, they also provide necessary antivirus support to keep your computer safe in future.
