Is SpywareQuake a Waste of Money?

SpywareQuake is a rogue security program that infiltrates your system through trojans and websites of questionable security. Through incessant security warnings and pop-up ads, this application advises the user that many infections and parasites exist, in an attempt to frighten them so that they eventually purchase the product to remedy these threats. This program is spyware, and is not capable of performing any positive action for your PC.

Have you ever noticed that your computer has become slow, almost to the point that it seemed to be paralyzed? Maybe you are getting bombarded with pop-up ads, spam emails and security alerts. These symptoms usually indicate some type of malware, which should be removed to avoid further problems. Most can access private information such as passwords, credit card numbers and other business data. Your computer is probably slow due to the enormous amount of system resources these parasites use.

SpywareQuake promises to get rid of these symptoms, and restore security. These promises are never carried through, because this rogue has no ability to scan your PC, nor can it detect or remove anything. The entire process is simply a scam that is devised to get you to purchase the product, which is completely useless. However, while some of these applications may be harmless, most do cause other problems and can modify system files. It is best to get rid of them once you realize they are there.

How may SpywareQuake have gotten placed on your PC to begin with? There are various ways this may happen. When you download freeware, music, videos and other files, malware often piggybacks on these programs without your knowledge. You may have clicked on a link in a spam email, or visited a website that was not secure. Surfing the internet is hazardous, so extreme caution should be used.

To remove this rogue, it is necessary to kill all associated running processes. You should then locate all related files and values in the Windows registry in order to delete them. Manual removal is risky and may cause damage to your PC if not done correctly. You may inadvertently remove a file that is necessary for your computer to function properly.

When you believe that SpywareQuake or any other malware has been placed on your computer, the best thing you can do is use a reputable antispyware tool to remove it automatically. Be sure to get a product that guarantees 100% removal of all parasites and infections, so that you can rest assured that security is restored.
