Bad Habits In Society - Be A Social Animal, Not A Brute!

You can be a very much disliked person in case your have social bad habits. You may not even realize how others react to your social slip-ups. In case you are behaving in unacceptable ways in a social situation then people are bound to notice.

When people visit a restaurant together many bad habits of theirs can be noticed. It can be very embarrassing to others if certain people in a group have bad habits. For example, chewing your food with an open mouth can be very frustrating to the person watching. It is definitely a thoughtless gesture if a person does it.

Some people like eating food from other person's food which is very bad. They will just reach out and take a bite from a friend's plate without realizing that they should be considerate enough to ask the other person first. It does not even occur to them that the person can find it repulsive sharing food with someone even a friend who has already used the fork.

Talking loudly in a restaurant is some times can be considered a bad habit. In some situations, loudness is accepted. In calm and quiet restaurants, a person needs to talk in a low tone. You need to match in with the restaurant ambience.

Another bad habit is belching loudly in a restaurant after food and giving an excuse of good food. It is bad manners too. Nobody generally likes it and can not be excused trying to be humorous. Some people are inconsiderate and do it every time they have the urge to do so without thinking how others might feel.

Another sickening habit people have is when they blow their noses in the cloth napkin at the restaurants. First and foremost thing is it is inconsiderate to blow the nose at the table. When a cloth napkin is used, it has to be handled to be washed for reuse. In is a thoughtless bad habit.

When it comes to a child's public behavior, some parents have bad habit of not correcting their child. They let the child run round the restaurant doing as he pleases without uttering a work about the child's misbehavior. This might spoil an otherwise enjoyable evening. On the other extreme there are parents who are very strict and serious with their children destroying any opportunity of anyone enjoying the evening. This is equally bad just as allowing the kids to be destructive. Ideally, parents should find the middle ground.

There are other bad habits that influence the way people feel about themselves. In case you are Mr. Know All then a person may get inferiority complex at first and eventually resent you. In case you are inconsiderate, you can hurt others feelings without even thinking. You may do it because you are used to telling the truth.

There are certain bad habits that affect your communication with others in social situations. You may enjoy monopolizing the conversation but others may feel unappreciated. Butting in is another bad habit that can prevent you from coming closer with acquaintances.

Change your habits in social situation and you will see that people are friendlier with you. You will realize that good habits will get better attention than bad habits.
