Miracles Of Wealth, Health And Happiness
There is nothing extraordinary in the fact that miracles happen everyday. What may be extraordinary is that these miracles do not seem to discriminate. They happen to people regardless of religious beliefs. When people professing the same religion as you work miracles then you think that it is normal. Your religion is the true religion hence its devotees should be getting extra blessing from God, hence the ability to work miracles. What may come as a surprise is that people in other religions are working miracles as well. This phenomenon leads to the following query: What is the one thing behind religions that could be the common force in working miracles? Unsurprisingly, this common denominator is faith in God and the Hereafter.
In the scripture of one of the major religions of the world there is a verse that declares:
"Indeed for those among Moslems, Jews, Christians and Sabeans (who hopped from one religion to another seeking the truth) who have faith in God and the Hereafter, a great reward from God awaits them. They have no fear and they have no grief."
Either You Have Faith Or You Have Fear And Grief
The verse contains two things. The first one is the importance of faith in God and the Hereafter. This is a major condition in raking in the great reward -- a reward which would include miracles of doing or getting extraordinary and unexpected things -- a reward that is not given to just anybody.
The second and more important thing is that faith will be tested -- and the test of faith is in fear and grief. To say that one has a solid faith in God is to say that he has trust and confidence in God -- that God has taken good care of him in the past and would take good care of him in the future. Consequently as the verse says he has no fear (over the future) nor grief (over the past).
So take your pick. It is either you have faith or you have fear and grief. But you may not have your cake and eat it too. If you choose to have faith then you are on the right track. But if you choose otherwise then there is a word of caution. For one thing, you may be veiled from seeing the gifts in God's creations. You may not understand why certain unfavorable things are happening to you. Worse still, fear and grief will haunt you -- until you one day surrender, wave your white flag, come back to God and have faith in Him.
You may have it your own way. Life is an experiment. You would not know if you did not try. But sooner or later you will come to realize that you are a lonely dwarf in front of His powers. The only way to have peace of mind is to join Him and put your faith in Him.
Are not those three things the most important things in life that you are after? Let me recapitulate. The first one is the great reward of living an extraordinary life filled with unexpected good tidings especially of wealth, health and happiness. The second one is to have a life that is content and free from fear of the unknown, free from fear of the future. The third one is to live a life free from grief. Whatever incident that had happened may it be the lost of a loved one or lost of a job all have hidden gifts behind them to build you up to become a divine and powerful person with no dependence what so ever on anything or anyone except God.
