How Temptation Can Stunt Your Growth.
In today’s world where information is power, the powerful stay in control through seeking out and absorbing new quality information. Staying abreast of fresh innovations in your field means staying on top of your game and consequently one step ahead of the competition.
The experience of life is the great prize
If we live for the experience than we are accountable for making sure our experience is complete in every way. Not being equipped with the latest information could mean a lesser quality of life. It behooves all of us to make the best of any and all situations, to elevate our mind, thinking and actions in a productive way. Our soul objective in life is to preserve the experience and make a positive contribution to the experience of others. Much hangs on a healthy attitude and clear perceptions for it is through perceptions that an attitude is formed.
Don’t get side tracked.
Many times we are tempted by outside influences to forgo the more productive parts of our experience for pleasure. While pleasure is part of our experience, it should be controlled the same as everything else. It is easy to fall pray to what feels good and become sidetracked in our quest to be the best we can be. You should find pleasure in achievement, family, relationships, serving others, as well as all the things a well rounded personal experience contains. Find pleasure in stepping up to the challenge of life and helping others succeed.
Make time work for you
Time is also a tempter. We believe we always have time and the more serious parts of our life can always be done later. Time misused cannot be regained, it is forever lost. Each beat of the heart should be directed toward the greater goal, the gold pot, the ultimate prize. Each step of the way should be a quest in a unique and enduring experience. We are born of God and to God we shall return; we must prove yourselves worthy of His grace.
Tune up your relationships
Relationships are also a large part of the life experience. It is to our advantage to be certain our relationships are kept healthy and productive. When all is said and done, there are no problem relationships only unwise people. Everything is by choice and a bad relationship is a choice. The choice may not be yours but it may effect you through someone else’s choice. In this case you have a choice of accepting the situation or negotiating for better conditions. You always have a degree of control over your circumstance.
If a relationship is experiencing fear, dominance, conflict or confusion the first reaction may be to recoil or pull back. While drawing back is not a bad temporary move, it need not be permanent. Negative perceptions must be confronted and eliminated from the experience. The truth is, every relationship goes through good and bad times.
Keep finances in order
Finance is another large part of the life experience. Without proper finance you are at a huge disadvantage and ultimately may get denied many avenues of advancement. Your life experience may become spoiled and much more stressful. The more stress that is applied, the more possibility for bad judgments, causing an even further deterioration of the life experience.
The importance of good education
Education is, without a doubt, the highest impact contribution of a person’s life. A good education could be the difference between having a good or bad quality of life. People with good educations enjoy higher pay, better relationships, more pleasurable activities and longer life spans. They drive nicer cars, live in bigger and nicer houses, go on vacations, have better health care, fuller bank accounts and retire earlier. It is to your benefit to pursue higher education as an investment in your life. Education teaches you direction, focus and determination, the three eliminates most important in life’s accomplishments.
Keeping fit has its rewards
The old saying, “no pain no gain” is really true. Good fitness means clearer thinking, making better choices, more contentment and a longer lifespan. It’s as simple as that. If you feel good you are naturally going to enjoy life more. You’re going to be more alert and spend less time fighting off viruses and other sicknesses. If a little pain a couple of times a week gets you in shape to face the world with a smile then of course, it’s well worth it.
Stay in tune
Keep in shape, physically, financially, socially, mentally and spiritually and you will have the best life experience possible.
