Jewels of Life: Moldavite
Molidavite formed 15 million years after a giant metorite impacted Earth near Moldavia and is found along the banks of the Moldau River. In the Stone Age it was used as an amulet stone and has a reputation as a stone of transformation. It heralds in a time of drastic growth and changes. It is associated with the death/rebirth process that we all experience as we allow people, things, situations and lessons that are no longer serving us drop away and make way for a higher good to come into our lives. Moldavite dissolves blockages in all of the chakras and is especially active in the 4th (heart), 6th (brow) and 7th (crown) chakras. Modavite assists us in detaching from materialistic leanings and allows us to experience the spiritual greatness we are capable of.
Jewels of the Month:
I recently returned from a workshop at Lake Tahoe. While I was gone, a heat wave and lack of watering killed my beautiful trailing petunias in the hanging basket on my front porch. They were torched, dead, no sign of life. I had another hanging basket, which had cracked, and I decided that I would keep the soil moist in the hanging basket with the dead petunias until I had time to transfer the plants from the cracked pot. To my amazement, a pink flower showed up in the pot with the dead plant and I realized that new life was forming out of the perceived death of the old plant. As soon as I noticed the new growth, I went to work cutting away the dead part of the plant to make room for the new growth. It reminded me of the concepts and principles that I had been working with at James Ray’s Practical Mysticism workshop which I had attended in Lake Tahoe last week, as well as situations that I am currently experiencing in my life. In order to grow to a new level, we must first let those things that are not serving us die. Some bible scriptures talk about this metaphor of death often and talk about dying daily and not to carry the dead with you. In other words from a metaphorical view, let those things that are no longer serving your growth die away and open yourself up to new life and new experiences. Don’t carry your past (or your dead) with you, it is an energy drain. It is not always easy to experience the death/rebirth cycle. We can become quite attached to and comfortable with those things that are blocking our growth or which we have grown beyond. We may experience pain and grief as we loosen our attachments. We may have a “dark night of the soul” experience to initiate this process. We may flow through some changes effortlessly. Sometimes we can let things die in an instant, other times it may take us weeks, months or years to die to those things that are not in our highest good. We are here to grow in life and in consciousness, and until we are willing move past the things which are no longer serving us, we will continue to bump up against similar lessons. Or we may experience crises in our lives that can force us let go and allow ourselves to be born anew. The idea of the great phoenix rising from the ashes displays this concept beautifully. Where is your heart leading you yet you are resisting? What in your life is waiting to be released to free up the space and energy for new growth? Are you willing to follow your hearts desire?
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time of love and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. – Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

Contemplating a 7 Dimension Theory of Everything
By: Dr. James Slobodzien | 28/11/2009Is Life just a string of random chemical reactions and biological accidents or could there possibly be a theory of everything? Although I believe that the Universe and/ or the Mind of God is too mysterious, complex and constantly full of surprises to be boiled down to a simple formula for mankind to know, I have humbly attempted - just for fun - to take a stab at a Seven Dimensional Theory of Everything. Considering that the basic fundamental building blocks of our Universe appear to be based on

By: Matthew Toone | 28/11/2009Achievement of any goal or dream in life is the result of many contributing thoughts, attributes, and actions that cumulatively define the ‘law of success.’ Are any of these actions or attributes more important than the other? I don’t think so necessarily; however, without one essential attribute, perhaps none of the other actions would ever take place. This essential attribute is: self-esteem! To be successful in anything in life, you must first be willing to take risks. However, in order to...

Conscious Intention: the Art of Manifestation
By: Annette Pieper | 11/05/2007 | MotivationalThe past couple of weeks have been spent preparing our inner garden for planting by fertilizing and working the soil. Now is the time to seed your dreams. When we plant a seed, we set the intention that it will mature into a plant that will bear fruit or grow to maturity, re-seeding itself at the end of its life. We plant a seed expecting it to sprout, take root and grow into something magnificent.
