Stay actively calm and calmly active

Swami Yogananda Paramhansaji  preached  to stay "actively calm and calmly active".As always with preachings, sounds nice and easy but difficult to follow. However practice makes everything easier. This is not a mere preaching but the need of the hour ,as absence of this is manifested in daily road rage cases, children fighting with parents and with each other on petty issues, brother killing brother for some little material profit, bloodshed among neighbours, etc. This deterioration of man and society has to be stopped,as it is gifting us and our future generations with disieses like tension, headaches, blood pressure fluctuations, anxiety, and many other psycological disorders
Whenever unpleasent situations arise we just need to apply a little selfcontrol, think twice before reacting unpleasently.never react when you  are disturbed ,take two minutes off ,think of GOD,pray to him to show you the right path, and then act after your anger has mellowed.
Calmness does not mean we should stay passive or lethargic rather we should not use unnecessary physical force but make our mind work construstively and not retaliate destructivelySuch thinking and practice helps give up our false pride and ego,and in return makes us earn mental peace, boost our morale.Soon this practice would help see the irrelevance of fights, arguments and would make us understand what really matters is not what the other  man thinks of us but what GOD will think of us when we go to HIM on the D-day.Keep doing you karma as per GOD's commands in a manner that your conscience is clear till date--for which you'll have to remain actively calm and calmly active always.
