A vote can change nation

Indian constitution has given right to vote to both man and woman. Constitution creators have given this right on seeing the pompous history of Indian women. It has been sixty years since the constitution came into effect. But the question arises that if the women have strengthened her to vote independently. The answer will surely be negative. Then how can we say Indian democratic system victorious. The majority of women today keep themselves away from politic discussion. They think giving and taking votes is the work of man.

                Rural women came to know about importance of vote only after 33% women reservation in Panchayati Raj act (1992). Still women don’t act independently but in emotions. In 1984 election, after the death of Indira Gandhi; Rajiv Gandhi and in 1999, Atal Bihari Vajpayee got maximum women votes. This is with man also. Now we have to vote in 15th assembly election.

            Every woman must vote. They should choose the government wisely because voting is holy and intelligent deed. Every women worship god. The fundamental reason behind this is happiness, prosperity of family. Election is also important festival of democracy. This festival has also special customs. Like we need mango wood and pure ghee for pooja, we need clean and honest profile of candidate. It takes time from the declaration of election to enrollment. There is gap of 15 to 20 days after enrollment; this is only time to judge and question the candidate and parties. We should only vote after getting full information about candidate. Voting centre is also like a temple. It is because we get happiness after worshipping god. In the same way we get happiness and prosperity at our doors after electing right people and party. Inflation rate decreases. Employment opportunity increases. Relationship with the neighbor countries improves. These are only some benefits.

            But still we can hear from people – “what will happen with my single vote?” A vote can decide the results. But why me? Don’t forget a single drop make a sea.
