You’ve heard the saying, “Money doesn’t buy happiness”. Actually, just the opposite is true: happiness brings you money. That is, happiness is the cause and money is the effect, and not the other way around. Being and feeling happy right now is the fastest way to bring more money into your life.

Many people are busy postponing their happiness. They keep telling themselves they’ll be happy when they get the promotion, or when they have a nice nest egg saved up, or when they get married, or when they can afford the lifestyle of their choice. However, all these things, the vacations, the cars, the success, love, intimacy, and so on, are attracted to the vibration of happiness. So if you’re emitting this vibration, you will attract all of these things to you.

Marci Shimoff--author of the #1 New York Times Best-Seller “Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul” and one of the teachers featured in the movie "The Secret"—has a new book out called Happy for No Reason: 7 Steps to Being Happy from the Inside Out. Marci knows that happiness is a powerful attractor, and she teaches you how to be happy regardless of what is going on around you so that you can begin attracting good things into your life right away.

In her book, Marci talks about the concept of the “happiness set-point”. Just as there’s a certain weight that feels natural to your body and which your body strives to maintain, your basic level of happiness is set at a predetermined point. This point is based 50% on genetics and 50% on learned behavior. If something bad happens to you during the day, your happiness can drop momentarily, but then it returns to its natural set-point. Likewise, if something positive happens to you, your level of happiness rises, and then it returns once again your happiness set-point. In other words, the happiness set-point is the level of happiness that you maintain most of your life.

The book “Happy For No Reason” presents a practical, powerful 7-step program you can start applying right away to quickly and easily raise your level of happiness. That is, it teaches you how to raise your “happiness set-point” so you can remain at a higher level of happiness regardless of outside circumstances. And the happier you are, the more good things you will be able to attract into your life, including money.

As Marci says, "When you're Happy for No Reason, you bring happiness to your outer experiences rather than trying to extract happiness from them...you live from happiness, rather than for happiness." However, once again, being happy serves as an attractor for happy circumstances.
