Adolescence is a time of life when you first begin to ponder where you are going and why. Times of transition and change can be an opportunity for creating a new sense of meaning in your life. Why have adult human beings made and/or allowed an (irrational and unworkable) dog-eat-dog; ruthlessly competitive system, to govern and shape their lives? 'If you can't beat 'em; join 'em?'The 'survival of the fittest'? HOW does that work? What happens if someone is fitter 'intellectually'? Does that mean that he or she ought to look down on those who are not quite as bright, for example? Has no one noticed that we are all in this together? That what happens to one affects the other (on a deep, psychical and soul level). And, in turn, affects the whole? Are adult human beings aware that their 'thoughts' are electro-magnetic impulses that affect other human beings; animals, plants, and the entire planet - for good or ill?And that just 'one unkind; negative thought (or word) makes the whole world shabby'? Let alone 'affects the weather,' etc. So, it's a case of watching one's thoughts; words and actions. A 24 Hour discipline, but (from a self-respect and 'universal' point of view) worth it in the end.Be grateful; be so grateful for what you have now. And don't forget; never forget to love; cherish, and value, those with whom you are with.I wish you peace. All the blessings of life.
