How to be Truly Successful
Author: Simon Jordan | Posted: 16-01-2008 | Comments: 0 | Views: 20 | Rating: (51) (?)
What do you think success is? Having a loving family, a great career, being debt free or having lots of money to spend time with your loved ones and share your wealth with them?
At school we are taught reading, writing and arithmetic. What about learning how to be successful, how to be wealthy. I'm talking really wealthy and having the ability to live as you wish to live, not how you are told to live, but to live without a boss. To be the master of your life not the victim of your circumstances. Wouldn't that be truly fantastic?
Go on, really think about that for a while. Just sit and dream for a while. Sit back, close your eyes and think about what it would really be like. We have all sat back and thought about what we do if we won the lottery. But the lottery odds are not good to win. But lets just think for a minute if you could really accumulate the knowledge that would help you gain massive wealth, where would you live, what holidays would you go on. How would you choose to spend your time and with whom?
What would you do if you had that freedom? Financial freedom. To have your time used they way you want it to be used. Time for your family, friends. Holidays where you really want to go, not where you can only afford to go. This doesn't need to be just a dream or something that other people do?
What is your life like now? So many people these days work their whole lives trying to pay their bills living off a meager salary to then retire on a salary which is less then they had when they were working. The papers now tell us we have to work until we are 70. What is going on?
Do you want this for your life? Do you really want to give your life away? Give it to a boss and let them live their dreams?
If you answer no, then fantastic. So how will you go about changing your life? Who has this knowledge and how can you get it.
In my many years as a coach I have found that to gain knowledge you have to go and find it. Have the attitude of an investigator. As that great book once said 'seek and ye shall find'
I have spent many years listening to the great minds of this world and hear them impart their knowledge and wisdom on such varied topics as
· Leadership
· Motivation
· Personal Development
· Internet Marketing
· Sales and Marketing
· Self Esteem
· Confidence
· Communication
· Public Speaking
· Wealth Creation & Finance
· Real Estate
· Health - Mind and Body
· Spiritual Growth
· Laws of Attraction
· Personal Relationships
· Speed Reading to name but a few
From listening to such great people I have turned my life around, and I believe you can to. Why not. I am no different from you surely. I was not born into a rich family or had a great education. I had belief and passion.
You have those qualities too. Many people feel they don't but you do. Think about this for a moment. Some aspect of your life you have passion. It might be soccer, or golf, cooking or gardening. You have that passion. So you know what it is like to have it. I'm sure you also have belief about something else in your life. Belief that you are maybe a great husband or wife or that you are a great cook. Whatever it may be, look for that belief about yourself. Then take that passion and belief feeling and start to change where you direct it at. In this case have passion about wanting to make a difference in your life. To become successful and become wealthy or healthier or whatever it is you really want to change.
Start that journey where one day soon you can sack your boss. Lots and lots of people, just like you and me have so why not you?
In years to come will you be saying 'I wish I had or I wish I did?'
