Change Your Inner Self and You Receive! - Change Your Outer Self and You Loose!
"You make the world a better place by making yourself a better person!"
- Scott Sorrell
Some of you may be confused when reading the headline. I have to admit, a few years ago I would have felt the same.
In Revat, we often do exactly the opposite of what many people would expect. If someone pulls us on our arm or jacket, we follow the pull. If someone pushes us we are moving around the push. The untrained person would assume the opposite such as resisting the pull and resisting the push. The Revat-way is much more efficient and effective. We rather allow the attacker to do what he wants only to take full advantage of it.
But before the body can perform such ingenious movements the mind needs to change. Only when the mind changes and progresses the body can follow and progress as well. When you think differently you act differently and you will get different results. The seed of change is in your mind!
"When you look at things differently, the things you look at change!"
As soon as we allow a different (new) view point we allow different (new) results. Always remember:
Thinking --- Acting --- Results
Here is an example: People who have trained Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Taekwondo or something else and now discover Revat are still practicing their previous martial art until they change their mind and start thinking differently. Only changing the name of the program does not change the learning experience. The change needs to happen in the mind first before we can expect new results. It is easy to blame other people for our misfortune but it is wrong because it doesn't change anything. If we really believe that other people are responsible we will always get the same results. The results will change as soon as we take responsibility and change how we think. We need to reconsider our attitude towards work, money and how we see ourselves and others in order to break free of old and outdated limitations. We need to change our inner self in order to change on the outside.
In regards to Revat: You are not learning anything if you keep up your old and outdated ideas of strength, power and speed when practicing Revat. In fact you are still resisting; you are resisting an attack and resisting change and progress. And resistance results in pain. There is a reason why the dinosaurs are not around anymore. The once mighty dinosaur was not able to change and adapt and the result was extinction. That in itself shows where strength without brain leads to.
"We must take change by the hand or rest assuredly; change will take us by the throat!"
- Winston Churchill, former British prime minister

Most women fear attacks from behind because these attacks are obviously not apparent until they happen. Revat is the most complete self-defense program purely designed for professionals living in an urban environment.
