Hello friends,

Be sure that you read to the end of this article because there is news about the next big ReFire, Don’t Retire™ Event. It’s going to be hugely fun, and I hope you will be a part of it.

I occasionally have people ask me why I chose “ReFire, Don’t Retire” and why I talk so much about a refired life in the second stage. The answer is really simple:

People who are fired up about something – people who are passionate about life and living – are happier and live longer. They also tend to be healthy longer.

I’ve discovered that the way to enjoy a happy retirement is to discover your passion (or a new passion) and make it the center of a meaningful life. In fact, I’m so passionate about it that I started coaching people in how to plan for and enjoy a ReFired Life.

I’ve always been excited about teaching and about helping others soar to new heights. What I realized over the years is that retiring from a first career is not the end of life. Instead, it is a chance to rekindle old passions or pursue new interests with a new sense of freedom.

I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I wasn’t so passionately committed to helping others find their passion and re-fire their lives for the next twenty or thirty years! As I’ve refired my own life and worked helping others re-fire I developed a process that really works for people.

If you want to Refire for an exciting second stage of life that is filled with passion, purpose and pizzazz, you need to re-center your life and your energy. And you need to know that you won’t accomplish this overnight. You need to dig down deep – to the core of who you are and what makes you happy. When you discover your new passion, then you decide how your will build your life around this new focus.

Every step of building your new life around the passion that gets you fired up will also help you keep all of the important aspects of your life in balance. It is amazing how guilt-free a balanced life really is.

Then you can develop the routine or the activity that helps you refire for each new day. My routine is early morning meditation, followed by a brisk but peaceful walk on the beach. This is my time to focus, to center, and to re-fire for the day. You will need to discover what recharges your batteries each day and sends you into life every day fired up (refired) about the possibilities and the opportunities of each new day.

Join me on the Carnival Miracle for a 2 day cruise to nowhere while you learn to Refire Your life. We depart from New York City on October 18, 2007 at 5:00 pm and return on Saturday morning.

In addition to the relaxing roll of the ship and the wonderful sea air, you will enjoy delectable dining, friendly casinos, Vegas-style shows and endless activities on the ship. You can enjoy all the amenities of the ship around Refire workshops and coaching. What an opportunity to relax and refire!

The price of the cruise is $625 per person with double occupancy ocean view cabin.
