The reality is, gratitude is the most powerful gravitational force in the universe to pull things into your life that you desire to have. The moment you're grateful, you're successful already.
Most people that are running around pursuing things in life are not really grateful for what they have. I guarantee you that if you get grateful now for what you have and you think about all the goodness that's in your life, then the universe rewards you with more and more and more and more. I
We live in a vibrational universe. If you're constantly in a vibration of discontent and lack of gratitude you're going to repel those things from you that you truly want and pull the things you don't want into your life. So, you know gratitude is a very, very powerful force in the universe.
Take my friend James Ray. The first two words out of his mouth when he gets up in the morning, regardless of where he is, are thank you. Then he starts to think about all the things he’s grateful for, every single day. There's such a long list of things.
It doesn't have to be the most, humongous things in the world either. There are just a litany of things you can be grateful for, starting with your eyesight and your health and your family and going on from there, so when you can get in that space. You know, anybody can be grateful after the fact. It takes a true champion to be grateful in advance.
He also says that to experience gratitude on a continuing basis you must understand and believe three truths. 1. Your current situation is great and getting better. 2. Your current life is full of things for which to be grateful, and 3. your current results will continually change, grow and improve. Those are your immutable truths.
Anybody can be grateful after the fact, but when you understand the laws of the universe and you put something out into the universe, and you know that it's coming to you therefore, you're grateful.
Let's pretend that you won a million dollars, and you're going to get the money in 2 weeks. Well, you know it’s coming. You're not going to be worried and concerned about it, you're going to be excited. You're going to be grateful in advance.
When you're having a child you go and buy the furniture in advance with your spouse. You have the baby shower in advance. You buy the clothing in advance, because you know it's on its way. Well, that's the very same principle that you must practice when you're pursuing your goals, your dreams, your desires, your intentions in life. You've got to be grateful in advance because that's a sense of knowing that is beyond belief.

By: Veronica Hay | 06/01/2010I think the easy parts about manifesting / creating those things that we want in our lives is the desire and the imagining. Those are the fun parts. For me the hard part is detachment. Often we get attached to how it is going to come to us, or when, or where. And of course, this stops the flow. We get in our own way.
