When You Don't Know What To Do

There are times when you don't know what to do. It may happen to kids in vacations. It may happen to employees working in an office. It may happen to you when you are simply at home doing nothing. What do you do in such situations? Do you just while away your time or try to utilize your time in something useful.

If kids get bored and grumpy in their vacations, there are a variety of activities their parents can get them involved in summer activities like arts, swimming classes, martial arts classes, etc. That is not a big issue. But what if this happens to you. You are in the office, burdened with work, but still you do not know what to do. Thisis a problem with many people. They have so much to do that they do not know what to do next. In that case, if you are in office, take 10-15 minutes to relax yourself. Take a deep breath, do it a few times, and then think about what to do next. Make a priority list of your tasks in hand. Divide it into urgent, important and remaining. The urgent tasks must be done asap in the same day as they are time dependent. The important tasks are those which are equally important but can be postponed for the day to the next day. Divide the remaining tasks in order of priority and list them. Proceed in this way, and you will feel that your mind is clear of all clutter.

If you are at home and simply wasting time without any goals, then read on. Think of what you have been wanting to do. Some people like cleaning their cupboards and throw away stuff that they do not need. You can catch up on your reading. Many people store old mags and books which they want to read but do not have time. Have a look at your finances, make sure that all your accounts are in order. Spend time on something which will make your time worthwhile.
