Every cloud has a silver lining, they say. A  couple worshipped god of every religion, pleading god to bestow them with the blessing of a son. They had everything else to make them happy,  except a son ,to carry forward their legacy. The gentleman had an enviable government job of an Administrator, three beautiful daughters, a royal personality and good amount of power and money. The lady was a simple and intelligent woman .she also read religious books for hours at a stretch. Once a month they walked barefoot to a hillock to offer their special prayers to lord Krishna,. The only stigma in the life was lack of a son. Many Years passed by. The couple reached their middle age, hoping to have a son.

Prayers answered:

One summer afternoon, in the month of May, at 1 o’clock a very cute healthy son was born to the couple. It was indeed celebration time. The family was overjoyed; there was lighting and drumbeats, pulsate          in the entire haveli (palatial building) and the adjoining areas.  A lavish feast was served to the entire community.there was excitement and fervor all around. The little child was very precious and adorable   to the family .He was the apple of the eyes of his grandparents and three sisters. Each day he started growing more and more good looking. He was also very intelligent. His innocent killing looks, material comforts and excessive love and pampering made him the uncrowned prince .He would probably get even what he dreamt about. He was sent to the best school in town; he wore the most expensive clothes and played with the most expensive toys. His siblings and other children treated him with a lot of love and respect because he was a god’s child, an answered prayer and a child with a silver spoon. Days passed by very smoothly. All was well, life was good.

The boy was named Gopi.He was of thirteen years by now. His sisters had married off. They had a lot of property, number of vehicles and couple of full time servants. Gopi knew that it was all going to be his one day. His parents were catching up with age. They had great plans for their only son. No one knows what lies ahead in life.

Man proposes, but God disposes. A very unpleasant thing happened.Gopi’s father fell sick. He was diagnosed with diabetes. He was referred to some big hospitals in Delhi. It was a very expensive treatment. Gopi’s studies were badly affected. Initially, a few relatives did help. But, since the treatment was prolonged. Everyone pulled back their support one by one. Now, it was the sole responsibility of Gopi and his mother to take care of the ailing father. Times were tough. The money was being spent like water. At one point of time, they had to sell off their property and vehicles to take care of the expensive medical bills and treatment..The only earning member of the family was restricted to bed indefinitely.   Gopi stretched himself unusually hard, trying to cope up with all kinds of social, financial, physical responsibilities. He found this period very taxing. He could find no shoulder to put his head on and cry. But, it is at such times that God gives his children unusual courage and stamina to come out of difficult times. Gopi did the same. He would support his parents, work part time ,as well  as study. Days were passing by with utmost discomfort. Sometime later, his father passed away. Gopi was merely in his twenties.

Turning point:

After completing some social commitments Gopi took his mother along, and shifted to Delhi. He started working in a good private company of Delhi.considering his struggle and loneliness, his mother thought of getting him engaged to some good natured girl, who could bring back a smile on his sullen face.Gopi was very shy by nature. When his mother insisted on his marriage. His only desire was a good educated simple girl. His mother suggested him to go to Mumbai to see a girl whom she thought would match his requirement. He went to Mumbai. He met a girl Sneha, a convent educated simple and sincere. As her very name indicates. She was very affectionate, caring and good natured. Some magic worked for the two of them.

They liked each other in their initial conversation.Gopi had to travel abroad, for an official job. By then , there was no serious talk between the two families about the alliance. It was later, when Gopi was abroad. He started missing Sneha very much, he realized that she was the girl for him. On the other hand, even Sneha started feeling strongly for him,She was just waiting for him to take the initiative. Though it was not Love at first sight. It was mature Love that started growing with each passing moment. The more they knew each other the more they wanted to know. Then, Gopi told his mother that he liked Sneha and wanted to get married to her. They were officially engaged to each other. What followed was the most romantic courtship. They spoke regularly on the phone, exchanged letters and unspoken emotions. He got a promotion in his job. He started remaining happy. Sneha had also got a very smart fiancé who cared a lot for her, so she too was on the seventh sky. After two years they got married.

New journey: The years that followed were just amazing.Gopi would take his newly wedded wife all over the place; buy all kinds of lovely  expensive         gifts for her. She was also head over heels crazy about him. Their life started moving in a positive way. Slowly –slowly the scars of the yesteryears started fading. They were totally engrossed in their life. They had two children a son and a daughter. Gopi would spend endless hours admiring his small children. He was thrilled with excitement.Sneha was too possessive about Gopi, who had become even more charming now. The females of the neighbourhood were greatly attracted to this handsome father. Many a times there would be childish fight between Sneha and Gopi. But, Gopi’s mother who loved both of them would intervene and things would

Be normal again.Gopi’s  children were very good. They were very intelligent and responsible. They started studying very hard, got into good colleges and also picked up decent jobs. The time just flew by …. Sneha was also a working lady. She was a respectable professional.Their family was very happy. All the four members were working. On weekends they would spend some quality time together. They went out shopping, watching movies and dining out. It was a close knit family. Their world was confined to a small periphery. Gopi lived happily ever after.

What would you conclude about Gopi’s life?

Is the Quran Quoted From the Bible? (27) - Chapter 27
By: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil | 19/11/2007 | Religion
The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Isaac commanded Esau to make him savory meat in order to bless him before he died! Rebekah (Isaac's wife) put a plan to make Jacob stealing Isaac's bless. Jacob did. Again, the bible messes up with the prophets. The price of a prophet bless is not savory meat. All of these events could not be done by Jacob, the great prophet! The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about all the Jewish chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: they had bound him; they led him away, and delivered him to the governor. The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about the Quran is bestowed from the One who is Wise and All-Knowing; it is a Book that makes things clear. The Quran is a Guide and Glad tidings for the Believers; and it warns the disbelievers with a grievous Penalty that is waiting for them! Then, the verses talks about the first communication between Allah and Moses.

Precious Moments Bedding
By: meeinter | 01/07/2007 | Health
Precious moments bedding is the ideal product for anyone who collects this loveable line of characters. Expectant moms are selecting this type of nursery blankets for good reason. The adorable characters offer charm and soft colors that will make any room suitable for your little one. I was really torn between the Precious Moments bedding and a Noahs Ark theme for my childs room. While I have always loved the Precious Moments characters I have always dreamed of my childs nursery decked out in a Noahs Ark theme. The decision was pretty difficult.

Allah is Asking You This Question (17) are Those Equal, Those Who Know and Those Who Do not Know?
By: Safaa Abdel-Aziz | 06/03/2008 | Religion
In verse 39:9, Allah is asking mankind these two questions: 1) Is one who worships devoutly during the hours of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord, (like one who does not)? Say: 2) Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? Then Allah says: It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition"
