Proxy Sites

A Proxy site is a web page which allows you to browse your favorite web sites — even though your access to those web sites might be blocked by a content filter, such as WebSense or SmartFilter. The proxy site also helps to mask the visit to the site, so that there is less evidence that the content filter was not successful in preventing the visit.

How Do Proxy Sites Work?

Proxy sites enable you to bypass your own Internet provider and browse through the proxy web site. A proxy site allows the user to key in a specific web address and be directed to that specific page in a window. This accomplishes two things. First, the window is coded as part of the proxy site address and not the actual web site the user is visiting. Second, any information cached on in the temporary Internet files will appear to be information related to the proxy site, and not the blocked web site.

How to Unblock Websites

A website can be blocked by a number of programs, particularly security software. These programs work with Web browsers, which allow users to view the World Wide Web. Some Web browsers even come with their own filters to restrict access to websites with certain content. System administrators of a LAN (Local Access Network) can also block access to websites on the network level.

Why run a Free Proxy?

Proxies are great to cure any financial issues; this is because they are so simple to advertise. Within a week, you could be earning at least $10+ USD daily; unfortunately, you will also have to pay for a server that allows proxies to run on them (using a shared host is not the answer; the host will go down within days). When you are attempting to manage traffic to your proxy, you can also get a spectacular amount to any other ordinary website.

Beginning a Proxy

It is unfortunate that a proxy cannot begin by earning money; you will need to spend a little first. The upside is that you will almost instantly be able to gain back the money you spend in returns; you can earn up to 30 times the server costs in AdSense ad revenue (it is possible to earn a lot more but highly unlikely for one that is just starting out).

The resources that are needed to run a proxy are:

• A Domain Name
• A Virtual Private Server
• A Proxy Script (Usually Glype or PHProxy)
• An AdSense + AdBrite Account (AdSense and AdBrite) *Optional*

Step one: Purchase a .info (or any other extension) domain name. It is recommended that you do not include the words "proxy" or "proxies" in the domain name; most filters will automatically block it out.

Step two: Purchase a Virtual Private Server and use your newly registered domain as the Primary Domain on the account.

Step three: Download a proxy script. Upload the script that you just downloaded onto your VPS and make any configurations that may need to be made.

Step four: Register for an account at AdSense and AdBrite if you have not already done so.

Step five: Insert AdSense on the index page of your website (do not insert AdSense on any of the proxified pages; this is against Adsense's terms/conditions) + AdBrite on the proxified pages.
