Article Submission Tips on Text and Tags

Article submission websites can bring you increased website traffic, but they are also a treasure chest for "scrapers" that steal copyrighted content and publish it as their own. When you submit articles to article submission websites, plan your text and tags to optimise your website, increase visitors, and decrease copyright violations. Article submission is an ethical SEO tactic that is used to optimise a website for search engines. Submitting articles to an article submission website increases your back links, traffic, reputation and exposure. Optimising your website by submitting articles that are unique, informational, keyword rich, and targeted towards your niche, is bound to be rewarded by the search engines in their search engine result pages (SERPS). Unfortunately, high quality content is more likely to be scraped or plagiarized - and duplicate content has the potential to lower your rank in the SERPS. Keeping your text and tags optimised when you submit articles for search engines won't protect you from all of the pirating spiders, scrapers and plagiarizers, but it will provide you with ammunition during you reputation management optimisation. When you submit articles to an article submission website, text is certainly the bulk of the spidered content. The body of your article must contain original writing that is cohesive, appealing and absorbing. The article you submit should also be keyword rich, but not overstuffed. Keywords, however, should be included in your anchor text and "resource" box, the designated area to promote yourself and your website on the page of your submitted article. With every article you submit, you need to vary your content, keyword arrangements, and anchor text. Too much duplicate content of anything makes the search engines vomit. Duplicate content of article submissions is almost as unhealthy as unused tags. Although all tags are not followed by all search engines, smaller search engines may use tags that the larger search engines may not. The header and title tags in your article submissions should always be carefully crafted for your keyword strategy and reader affability. In addition, using certain tags can help you identify when your article submission is plagiarized. An example of this is the "author" and "copyright" meta tags. By using the author and copyright meta tags in your article submissions, your articles are identified as yours in the source code. When you are reviewing your website's links and reputation and find your article copyrighted, you can prove that the content is yours by the source code. This may help when formally requesting that the website remove your article from their website. Your article submission should also clearly state that a link to the original article must accompany any reprints - if you choose to allow reprints. You should regularly review the whereabouts of your article submissions, and confirm that a link to your website accompanies the reprint. If the article you submitted is published on another website without a link to your website, submit a formal request to them that they must include a link to the original article or remove the article. Many times the reproduction does not intentionally omit the link; it may just be an administrative oversight. However, regularly reviewing your published articles can make you aware of any scraped articles that are published without your consent and outside of your article guidelines. Article submission for search engine optimisation is more than just typing up an article and submitting it to an article directory for submission. The text and tags of your article submission should be optimised to promote your website to search engines and identify you as the original author. By conducting regularly scheduled reputation management procedures, you can keep your website free from parasites that survive off your content without acknowledging your existence. Article submission includes reputation management. Submit articles that are text wise and tag wise and you'll be able to keep your reputation strong and keep your rightful standings in the search engine result pages.
