You also want to start building links back to this page with the same keyword phrase in your anchor text to build authority and page rank.
Step 2: Your Page Description
A page description can be found in your meta tags and is what is placed under your title in search results. You want to try and incorporate your main keyword that is in you tile tag into the page description also. When this shows up in the search results it will be bold type. Try not to put it more than two times and make it sound natural and not like your trying to stuff keywords in. Doing this will make your page more relevant in the search engines eyes. It shows that your page is on topic and related to the subject or keyword.
Step 3: Your Keywords
Keywords need to be placed in the meta keywords tag and also spread throughout the page copy. You only need to mention it a couple of times in the main content and you can also bold, italicize or underline them. If you want you can also try and put some misspelled keywords in the meta tags also to pick up traffic from typos but yo don't want to put it in the page copy.

In addition to the keywords in the title, description and page content you also want to put the keyword in your domain, subdomain or name of your page followed by the .html extension.
