Website owners still struggle to decipher how to get and to increase website traffic. Most likely, they have wrong concepts on how to deal with keyphrases. Most definately, they were not presented with truthful facts; or they were lead to accept as true that to increase traffic to a website and get top rankings involves rocket science and Caribbean Voodoo rituals.
An experience with two clients will help meaningfully. Bring up your chair, and read this.
Some time ago, two ladies in Boulder, Colorado in the USA contacted me. They had a nice website but not built with Search Engines in mind. I knew how laborious and disappointing it is to optimize existing web pages. To make matters worst, only few surfers search for their otherwise beautiful Gift Baskets For Pets. I could get and increase website traffic watching a movie.
During my research, I discovered that about 2,400 times a day surfers in Google, Yahoo, and MSN combined typed in their browsers Puppy Names, Kitty Names, Cat Names, Girl Dog Names, Boy Dog Names, etc. Those keyphrases have one thing in common: Pets' Names. To get and to then increase traffic to their website, I applied the Golden Rule: "Give surfers what surfers want."
Matching the website design and colors, I designed five web pages which permit full optimization implementing tactics known to work. I then chose five important keyphrases or "primary" and five slightly less important keyphrases or "secondary."
Pay attention to what comes next.
In the Internet, I found pets' names of people like Queen Elizabeth II, John F. Kennedy, Winston Churchill, Charles de Gaulle, Frank Sinatra, Ringo Starr, Lucille Ball, Bob Hope, Sylvester Stalone, Celine Dion, Bill Gates, John Wayne, General Paton, Tiger Woods, John Rockefeller III, Arnold Schwarznegger, and some few other celebrities.
Then, I chose the primary keyphrase Boy Dog Names to create Boy-Dog-Names.html
In that web page, I displayed which celebrities gave which names to their dogs. I proceeded to create four web pages using the remaining primaries and secondaries. At the bottom of each web page, I placed a tastefully designed screen-wide graphic inviting visitors to visit a splendid collection of Gifts Baskets For Pets.
After I gained top rankings, surfers begun to arrive and discovered a unique and captivating version of what they wanted: Pets' Names; but these were from world-wide known celebrities. Two happy ladies in Bolder, Colorado, U.S.A. started to make sales right away.
As you can tell, it is not only about optimization ~which is critically important~ but also about wisdom on properly making use of keyphrases and how to increase website traffic to get top rankings. Acquire truthful facts, play by spiders' rules, and I'll see you at the top. Trust me.
