Learning the basics of writing SEO articles is important when trying to increase your traffic. Most Internet Marketers use SEO content as a cost effective means to gaining traffic to their website. A regular article may be able to get 20-40 views on an average. Of course, there are many factors involved with this such as the topic. However, a highly perfected SEO article can gain you 100 visitors per article or more. In this article, I will teach you the basics of writing SEO articles so you can gain more traffic per article:
Keyword Density- This is the number one factor when determining the success of your article. When you are first writing SEO articles, you should aim for at last 50 views per article. Keyword density refers to the amount of times a keyword is used per 100 words in an article. So, if you want to aim for a 2-3% keyword density (which is the best density to shoot for according to Internet marketers and SEO researchers), then you can write a 450 words with the main keyword in at least 9 times.
The first mistake most Internet marketers and writers make when trying to create a SEO article is; they cram the main keyword into one spot. SEO articles work better when the keywords are sprinkled through the article with a concentration of the main keyword in the first, middle and last paragraph.
Secondary Keywords- These are other related keywords that will be sued in the article along with the main keyword. Now, these secondary keywords should be used less than the main keyword. SEO articles can easily be created when you choose multiple secondary keywords to place through out the article. A common trick used to add multiple secondary keywords at least once throughout the entire article.
Low Competition Keywords- One of the biggest make up of SEO articles is low competition keywords. There has been some confusion about the effectiveness of low competition keywords. What most Internet Marketers won’t tell a newbie in the SEO world is; you need to pick low competition keywords with a high search rate. If your monthly search rate is 100, it may be a low competition keyword, and you might get indexed faster in the search engines, but you won’t get a lot of searches for your keyword, so what is the point?
Searching for keywords that have a low competition but at least a monthly search rate of 1000 is the way to go. Also, your secondary keywords should also have low competition.
As you can see, writing a SEO article is not that easy, and it is not that hard. It is basically a formula. If you get the formula correctly, then you can move on to another article; however if you miss one step to writing a SEO article, then the entire formula will be messed up.
