Female erogenous zones are areas on the body that have heightened sensitivity. The right touch on these sensitive areas could result in erotic sensations or sexual excitement. Different people will have different erogenous zones, but for women it’s typically the lips, clitoris and nipples.
One of the most popular, though sometimes hard to find, female erogenous zones is the Grafenburg Spot, more commonly known as the G-Spot. The G-spot is a patch of rough, ribbed tissue along the anterior of the vaginal canal, about the size of a quarter. It was discovered in the 1950s by Dr. Ernst Grafenburg, which is where the name came from. Stimulating the G-Spot is known to produce a very powerful type of orgasm, and in some women it even produces female ejaculation.
Another female erogenous zone is called the Skene’s gland, or U-Spot, which is sensitive erectile tissue located past the clitoris, just above and on either side of the urethral opening. The A-Spot, or Anterior fornix erogenous zone, is located at the deepest point on the anterior wall of the vagina located between the cervix and the bladder. The A-Spot is described as having a wrinkly texture, similar to the tip of the nose.
Some other areas that are known to be orgasmic for some women are the perineal sponge which is accessible through the perineum and the anterior wall of the anus, several inches in, the rectouterine pouch, which is accessible through both the back of the posterior wall of the vagina and the anterior wall of the anus, and the uterus which, when stimulated, can result in a uterine orgasm, which is felt as a single, deeply satiating but short lived orgasm, that is rarely experienced by most women.
Female erogenous zones play an important role in satisfying a woman and can be found anywhere on the body from the top of the head to the tip of the toes and everywhere in between, literally.
