The reasons why some men may not enjoy going down on a women is because of hygiene purposes. A smelly vagina, a hairy vagina and even menstruation can turn men off. However there are simple ways to overcome this to make oral sex more enjoyable for both parties.
How to make it better:
Turn the night into a romantic night and suggest taking a hot bath together before taking the action to the bedroom. This is the most simple and obvious way to rid the vagina of the smell and give it that lovely fresh scent.
If there are issues with hair, then the way to approach it is to talk openly to your partner and suggest shaving or waxing. Turn the issue to yourself and say that you really enjoy going down on her however you’d enjoy it more if she had no hair. If you make the issue about yourself it might be easier to approach.
Menstruation is another issue that can be a turn off for men – and women. While it is uncommon for women to enjoy oral sex while they have their period, some women do like it. And while most men do not enjoy giving oral sex when their partner has their period, there are some who do. However if you have no spoken about it, assume the vagina is a no go zone for oral sex if she has her period.
Not only girls can be smelly
Remember too, girls are not the only ones who can be smelly. The penis can become sweaty and smelly too. If you have a female partner who is smelly down there, and you want to approach her about it, be warned that she might also be on the defense and say the same thing about you. If this is the case, then suggest a shower for you both before action and that solves both your problems.
In terms of shaving, again, she might also say that if you have hair on you testicles that she is not happy with that. When approaching this delicate subject, be prepared to talk through things.
Don't penalize her
If she does have a hygiene problem don’t penalize her and just not perform oral sex. Talk to her and address the problem so she can enjoy it. The majority of women achieve regular orgasms during oral sex, while there is a much smaller percentage of women who orgasm during penetration. If you are really serious about pleasing your women during sex then you have to talk to her about any issues and address them so she too can enjoy orgasms.
