Still, despite the fact that gay massage is prevalent in homosexual communities all across the country, some people do not actually know what it really means. To be sure, there are several different variances on what gay massage actually means, which will be discussed below.

If you are reading the back pages of your local alternative weekly newspaper and you see advertisements offering gay massage, this almost always means that the masseuses are prostitutes looking for a little something more than the usual back rub. Usually, these gay massage therapists will charge a lot more than you would expect for a regular in call or outcall rub down. Another quick way to tell if your gay massage expert is really a prostitute is to note whether or not they ask if you are a police officer before coming over or accepting your money. If they are concerned that you may arrest them, it is probably because they are doing something illegal.

Still, there are lots of gay massage therapists out there who are just looking to give you a sexy massage, with no sexual activity involved (although often times they are nearly naked, if not totally nude altogether, while they are rubbing you). The best way to make sure that this is the kind of gay massage that you are getting is to be upfront and ask. Sure, you may sound kind of perverted, but at least the two of you will be on the same page when the action (whatever kind it may be) gets going.

Of course, some of you may actually want your gay massage therapists to be real prostitutes. Although this is illegal and you could get arrested for your efforts, nobody is here to judge your behavior. With that said, if you are relying on gay massage therapists to satisfy your sexual needs, just make sure that you use a condom to protect yourself. Chances are, you are not the only client that day that is looking to get a little something extra out of the gay massage experience, and you do not want to catch a disease to go along with your orgasm.
