Kids Programming On DISH Network

During the summer, my kids stay extremely busy, and they keep me busy by running them around everywhere. So sometimes it’s nice to just sit down in front of the television and relax. The only problem is that 99% of the stuff that is on television is completely unfit for a child’s eyes. I know that one day my kids will grow up and they will probably watch all of the scary, graphic, adult shows at that point, but while they’re still young, I’d like to stick to Dora and Winnie the Pooh. It’s one less thing that I have to worry about as a dad.

What about family nights? Before Dish Network, we’d have to hunt around forever at the video rental store for a movie that was appropriate (and actually enjoyable) for the entire family. And even when we found one, we’d have to take the teenage clerk’s word that it was good. Now, with our Video On Demand, we can access all of the latest movies, with all the information about them right there on our screen. We don’t have to waste time at the video store, and we never have to pay any more late fees. All the movies we want to see (family friendly, or for mom and dad) are right there on our television screen, in the comfort of our own home.

So now, when they have a ballgame or a dance recital that’s right in the middle of one of their favorite shows, they can record it at the click of a button and not have to miss it! They can also watch it at any time, on any television in the house, so we can have family night in the living room, or they can watch it upstairs while my wife and I have a cozy night on the couch together.
