Following the fashion trend, what’s in, what’s hot, what are in season are key indicators for the success any sellers of wholesale clothing get. This business is so lucrative that anyone who has the money and resources wants to get into. This is especially true if seller caters to women or juniors. Wholesale apparel industry changes many times a year that it is hard to keep up if you are not into it. Any wholesaler whose profits are widely dependent on the flow of the fashion industry are extremely cautious to what they sell and how much they get it for so they can resell in bulk but leaves substantial amount of profit margin.

If it’s cooler season, then women opt to go for something with sleeves on like jackets, long sleeves, sweaters and something similar. On a hot weather, they like to wear something more casual like tank tops, halters, t-shirts, or anything sleeveless or short sleeve for that matter and something that not so thick and breathable.

3) Wholesale T-Shirt – Use it as casual, under your jacket or anything, just like jeans, it’s one of the best sellers. Get something that is age niche related and one that anyone of all ages can use. Sell something with good color combination if it has prints on it and get some that are also plain. Cut is also very important. Do not concentrate on something that only skinny people can wear. Sell something that all sizes can wear that it’s not so tight rather comfortable and easy to the body.

Bottom line is to be successful in the wholesale apparel industry could you be selling wholesale brand name clothing or not, you need to do your homework and do it well. Have thorough understanding of your market, could it be women’s, men’s, juniors or combination of all, you need to know what kind of fashion they are inclined to wear, how much they are willing to spend especially this hard economic times and the seasonality. Don’t just settle for something cheap but inferior in quality or your merchandise won’t move. Constantly updating yourself in the fashion industry will definitely take you to the next level of wholesale clothing business.
