Aromatherapy Scent

Aromatherapy involves utilizing the vital oils derived from plant flowers, roots, stems, leaves and bark for their normal, curative effects. There are over 90 vital oils distilled from plant extracts, each with its own unusual smell and healing properties. An aromatherapy aroma is a calming welfare of the vital oils. The effects of aromatherapy scents have been used to heal folk since ages and are unquestionably a goody for senses. There are distinct scents that are used to heal distinct problems. These scents impact human beings in all three ways mentally, physically and spiritually. When these scents are inhaled by a person.

Several messages are sent to the limbic system in the brain through olfactory nerve endings. The limbic system, also known as the ‘old brain', controls the instinctive responses such as aggressive, sexual and emotional behaviors. Each aromatherapy essential oil releases a specific scent which in turn activates specific senses that work together to help us achieve the wellness we are looking for. The aromatherapy scents are used for many therapeutic purposes. Aromatherapy scent is basically the fragrance of the essential oils that are used for aromatherapy healing. These essential oils are used for elevating moods, enhancing hormonal functions and for calming down the nervous system.

The aromatherapy scents are derived from flowers, raisins, herbs, trees and roots. These scents are usually mixed with base oils and used for massaging the body and scalp. They are also used in the bath so that the body cells can directly perceive them. The aromatherapy scents can also be burned and diffused in the air for us to inhale or used in the form of colognes. These are used in several healing processes such as elevating moods, improvement of psychic abilities, anointing, detoxification, attracting people, purifying the air, to fight depression and many more.
