Healthy diet. Any infection can decrease with proper consumption of healthy diet. To reduce the infections try to include notorious and healthy food. Along with the proper diet exercise and adequate amount of rest is also necessary.

Therefore, you have to supplement your diet with vitamins, antioxidants, nutrition's, exercise and sleep. High intake of arginine food like peanuts, chocolates, peas, grains, oatmeal, seeds and whole-wheat products should be avoided. Regular diet need to be supplemented with vitamins and nutrition's.

You can use a cream which will help heal the cold sore while reducing inflammation and soreness, such as tea tree oil or lemon balm.
