Skin is not only a personal sense of beauty, but also an index of the overall health; therefore, we should properly care for it. Understanding of your skin type is the first step to your personal care.
Normal skin is a type that almost all love to have. This is a healthy type without being too oily or too dry. The skin is generally smooth and firm with small pores. People with this type do not need special care for their skin.
Dry skin is another common type. You may feel your face tight, for you skin are exposed to the harsh environment and lack of eater. Your skin can easily become chapped without adequate moisture. As dry skin ages, it's more likely than other types to become wrinkly.
There are many people with oily skin. The skin of these people may look oily and coarse. And they are likely to suffer from blackheads, acne and large pores. The touch is often sticky due to the presence of oil on the skin.
People with combination skin may look oily on the T-zone which means the area that stretches from the forehead down to the nose and chin but dry to normal on the cheeks and around the eye area.
People with sensitive skin are most prone to allergies, rash, sting, and burns. Such kind is more likely to get irritated and go red and blotchy. This type will have a lot more trouble to environmental factors and tends to be very sensitive to cosmetics.
