Seven Tips on How You Can Look and Feel Younger Than Your Age

Due to sedentary lifestyle, improper eating habits, environmental toxins, stress and other problems, more and more people are facing skin aging prematurely. Nowadays, it wouldn't be surprising for a 30-year old woman to look 50 because of weight problems, wrinkles, and even cellulite.

If you want to look and feel younger than your real calendar age, you need to accept the fact that you have to work hard for it. The following are seven tips that will surely help you look dazzling and beautiful at any age:

1.  Psyche Yourself Up

The first thing you need to do is acknowledge you have a problem. Once you have accepted that you have flaws, such as cellulite on your thighs for example, you will be ready to psyche up yourself into believing that you have what it takes to eliminate or at least prevent your problems from escalating. One way that will help you believe in yourself is creating positive affirmations (constantly remind yourself that you can do it), meditations, and prayers.

2.  Mind What You Eat

For people who are dealing with weight and cellulite issues, you have to accept the fact that the food you eat (or even don't eat) can exacerbate your situation. If you want to have a healthy looking skin and body, you ought to restrain yourself from feasting on dairy products, junk and processed foods and those that are high in sugar and salt.

3. Drink Up

Water is essential in many bodily functions, including the elimination of toxins and wastes inside your body. If you want to get rid of cellulite, you have to make sure that your body effectively gets rid of wastes and toxins. Thus, you need to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Although soups and other beverages can also help prevent dehydration, water is the better choice because it does not contain calories, sugar or salt.

4. Start A Daily Low Impact Exercise Regimen

Your days of wasting hours upon hours in front of the television doing nothing but eat and watch TV are over.  You have to start moving your body and sweating it out. For starters, you can do 30-minute walks around the park or using a treadmill. After a week or two, you can start doing aerobic exercises, stair climbing, swimming, playing Frisbee with your friends, or engaging in sports and other physically challenging activities like wall climbing, hiking and biking. Do this daily and you will see a drastic improvement not only on the way you look, but also on how you feel inside.

5. Start Pumping Some Iron

One way to get firm and well-sculpted body is by undergoing weight or strength training. You really do not need a program that will give you big and bulky muscles like the wrestlers on TV. What you need is a strength training program that will help tone your body, flatten your abs, and give you strong and lean body.

6. Do Dry Skin Brushing

One of the most effective ways to boost your circulation, improve your skin's elasticity and prevent formation of cellulite and varicose veins is by dry brushing your thighs, arms, legs and even your tummy. This process, which can be done twice or three times a week, can also help slough off dead skin cells.
