Skin Types and Taking Care of Them

Vata Skin Care                                      



Using proper Vata nourishing products is very important for Vata skin to stay youthful. A specific combination of  some essential oils or herbs, is used to prepare vata specific products which can nourish the skin and prevent wrinkles and premature aging.

Taking care of Pitta skin:

Kapha Skin Care

Regular use of ubtan for external cleaning by gentle exfoliation is recommended along with botanical masque.



Taking care for Kapha skin:



Kapha being oily and heavy in nature needs a diet that is warmer, lighter, less oily, and free of heavy, hard to digest foods. Bitter, astringent and pungent tastes to stimulate digestion and balance are recommended in diet. Avoid too much of sweet or deep-fried food as it adds to the oil in the skin. Daily warm oil massage and regular exercise improves circulation. Its good eat plenty of vegetables and fruits to cleanse the body from within. Cleanse your skin twice everyday; exfoliate with face ubtan at least thrice a week. Cook with warming spices such as ginger and black pepper for proper digestive fire and inhibit the accumulation of ama inside the body.
