Vata Skin Care

Bitter, astringent and pungent tastes to stimulate digestion and balance are recommended in diet. Avoid too much of sweet or deep-fried food as it adds to the oil in the skin. Daily warm oil massage and regular exercise improves circulation. Its good eat plenty of vegetables and fruits to cleanse the body from within. Cleanse your skin twice everyday; exfoliate with face ubtan at least thrice a week. Cook with warming spices such as ginger and black pepper for proper digestive fire and inhibit the accumulation of ama inside the body.
