CPAP Mask Review: Resmed Mirage SoftGel

For those who suffer from the disorder known as obstructive sleep apnea, therapy with a device known as a CPAP machine is the treatment of choice. This therapy requires the use of a nasal or full face mask that is worn by the patient. Finding the right mask is imperative to having success with CPAP treatment.

Resmed is one of the top manufacturers of CPAP machines and supplies and are known very well for their CPAP masks.  They have recently introduced a new mask on the market, the Mirage SoftGel to go with their other lines of well constructed masks.

Some of the features of the SoftGel are:

* A DoubleGel cushion with a soft clear gel layer that feels very comfortable and snug. The blue gel layer adds support and stability.

* The Mirage SoftGel adjusts easily to the contours of your face to provide a leak free seal. It has an adjustable strap that allows a customized fit.

* The mask is durable and designed to last. It comes with a user package including a user guide, mask fitting guide and care instructions.

* The SoftGel is very quiet, providing a good night's sleep for you and your bed partner. There are tiny vents distributed around the mask to diffuse air quietly.

Overall, the Resmed Mirage SoftGel is a nasal CPAP mask that offers comfort with quality. It is easy and quick to fit. You can interchange the mask cushion with other styles to give you some variety in treatment.

A CPAP mask review of this mask shows it to provide comfort, durability and freedom of choice to those who use it.
