Electrical Wire

Electrical wire and cable is a high volume item for WesBell Electronics. This article only discusses the THHN single conductor electrical wire, so you should see our Romex or UF-B Cable (underground cable) if you're looking for the multi-conductor cables. Our electrical wire can be used indoors or outdoors, but if need direct burial speak to someone on our sales team about fitting you with the correct wire or cable.

All of the THHN we sell is dual rated THHN and THWN. A lot of electricians require the THWN for a specific job and the cost of adding that approval is minimal so we always have the dual rated version in stock. WesBell allows you to buy the exact length you need because we understand that you need to minimize waste for each job. We ship everything same or next day after ordering from New Hampshire so it’s never more than 5-6 days before getting the wire. WesBell also offers FREE shipping on orders over $250.00 to anywhere in the continental USA.

THHN electrical wire is a 600 Volt PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) wire with a nylon coating for easy installation into conduit or tray. It’s rated for 90°C and has UL approvals. It’s made from soft drawn bare copper with only 19 copper strands to make sure it’s stiff enough to push easily through conduit or tray.

Romex Wire is very similar because it’s the THHN/THWN conductors with an over all PVC jacket so that you can send 2-3 conductors with a ground wire through conduit at once. Romex wire is only used indoors though, so if you need an outdoor / underground cable then you should see the UF-B Cable. It has a better jacket to withstand anything outdoors.
