Home Sweet Home (or as I Iike to call it..free, free, free at last!)
Yep, we made it home last night and I sluggishly unpacked and then fell into bed. As you would all agree, it is great to go away, and even better to come back.
During the time we were gone, Pete and I decided to back out of selling our townhouse, at least temporarily. WE found the neighborhood we wanted to move into in NC, but we did not buy a house and the land in Estes Park that we also would like to buy is still tied up with zoning issues. So, we figured that rather than move from one place we don’t like into another “temporary” place, why don’t we just sit tight and let the right property come to us at exactly the right time? That is what we will do, although if it does not happen by the end of the year, I may have to force the “right time” just a bit! :)
Anyway, the trip was good, despite my occasional frustrations. We loved sailing and kayaking—and the time spent with the kids was awesome. They are so funny and really have a way of making your day seem brighter and lighter.
Now, I have to get back to work. I have my real estate exit strategy marketing book to complete this week, a mastermind to plan for with my GKIC Chapter Presidents (www.NoBSColorado.com), a new marketing meeting that I am hosting that starts on Aug 6th, a Property Designer Training, my VIP+ Meeting with my master mind group led by Bill Glazer, and my sister and her 4 kids are coming in for a visit on the 30th—hmmm, these next 14 days should be fairly exciting.
