The Kendo and Judo can be used by retailers for pricing, mark-down, and adding cost, or date codes. In food preparation and distribution they offer a fast and simple way of adding best before and use by dates.
The Kendo - one line print labeler (price gun) and the Judo - two line print labeler (price gun) are each available in a choice of models and can print up to ten characters per line in red or black ink.
Label sizes are up to 26 x 12mm (Kendo) or 26 x 16mm (Judo). They can be used with all standard label styles, rectangular, wavy edge and punch hole. All price guns share a range of improved features, font sizes are larger (5mm) making the printed labels easier to read, extra large, bold print, is especially useful for sales promotions and product coding.
Characters that are seen on the print band, when selecting the chosen number or text, are therefore larger and far more visable than ever before and a new stopper mechanism ensures the ink does not smudge during use.
These new hand held price gun labelers also incorporate a no fuss, slide-in, slide-out ink roller making ink replacement extremely easy. The Kendo and the Judo both have a more efficient feeding mechanism making it quicker than ever to load and change label reels.
General maintenance couldn’t be simpler – wide opening of the platen and label roll cover allows for easy access to all machine parts. Sato has also created the Judo XL which prints numeric characters in font heights up to 7.6mm which is the only Judo hand labeler that prints to this size.
