Small Business Growth Through Big Random Action

Do something big and random.  You need to have people notice your small business.   People notice actions that are big and random.  This gets people talking about your business, thinking about your business, and buying from your business.  Taking big random action is a great way to grow your business.

What is big random action?  Please do not confuse random with reckless. There are things that you can do to quickly destroy your business.  This is not what I mean.  You need to take huge positive action to make people notice your business in a very positive light.  You just need to be creative, imaginative or unusual.

People like the unusual and the unique and we will remember it.  Imagine that you went to the grocery store and as you went through the checkout, bells and whistles sounded, balloons dropped from the ceiling and the employees started yelling and cheering for you.  What would your reaction be?  Well, after the first few seconds of confusions and fear, this would change to curiosity.  And, when they explain that you just won a prize, you might be happy, and perhaps even excited.

Do something similar in your business. If you can provide something really good, that you clients do not expect of you, you can create some great rapport and increased customer satisfaction. Do you think that the grocery store winner might tell other people?  Of course, they would.  They might even share this story with people for years.

In my example, the cost of a hundred dollar prize package and twenty dollars in balloons would be returned hundreds of times over in the form of publicity, positive press, interest and curiosity.

Do something big and random to leave a positive impact on your customers. Taking big and random action is a great way to grow your small business.
