I channel our clients through the growing maze of issues they face on a daily basis and offer solutions for managing and growing their business. By offering business continuity planning, I’m involved in your business as much as you are.
STARTING A NEW BUSINESS
When starting a new business, entrepreneurs regularly face the moment when they realize something needs to be done and they just don’t know how to do it. We allow dentists to fix our teeth and mechanics fix our cars; so why do we expect that when running a small business we can do everything ourselves? The key to a successful business is the ability of the owner to stop and think and ask themselves, “What am I not capable of not effectively doing myself?” By carefully selecting professionals to sustain core functions of your business, you will ensure things get done right the first time and allow you the freedom to do what you do best.
Your mission as a business owner is to decide what you do best and do it. Any time you squander outside of those tasks will eventually lose your business money. You have to concentrate on your core strengths and hire employees or consultants to handle what they specialize in. When you have everyone paying attention to their core responsibilities and not sidetracked with other tasks, your business will take off and allow you the freedom to enjoy being an entrepreneur.
THE CHANGING FIELD OF CONSULTING
Consultants are more and more often being viewed as an investment in the growth potential of a company. They are given highly specific projects, engage in partnerships with their clients, develop manageable processes, and are overall seen as a valuable resource.
THE CONSULTANT’S ROLE
Consulting assignments, whatever their nature, regularly originate with a problem. The consultant’s client realizes that there is a problem and for whatever reason they lack the specific skills or staff to address it. The consultant, in conjunction with the client, will hope to accomplish the following:
- Identify Need
- Clarify Goals and Objectives
- Develop a Process to Address the Problem
- Engineer a Solution
WHY A CONSULTANT?
A situation arises where an objective, third party, unbiased opinion or input is required on a project. Consultants bring a much needed objectivity, knowledge, or innovative approach to a specific need. Our Enteprise team consistently delivers a valued contribution and documented results.
