Real Madrid – New Dutch Players

Real Madrid’s President Ramon Calderon presented Drenthe first; with just twenty years old he is considered one of the new jewels in international soccer with a great left and vision of the game. He attended with his father to receive his first white jersey from Alfredo Di Stefano; the team’s president of honor, for this contract Drenthe will receive 14 million euros.

Sneijder received the white jersey accompanied by twelve members of his family; he will earn a total of 27 million euros for being a member of this famous team. The twenty three year old player showed very excited saying that this was a dream to play with for the Real Madrid and will try hard to have success on the field.

Both players passed the medical test in the morning and sign their contracts for the next five seasons. Before the team had spent around 71 million euros for Cristoph Metzelder, Javier Saviola and the Brazilian Pepe for the impressing amount of30 million euros, there are also contracts pending such as the one for Alves from Brazil who is asking for 40 millions and Robben who wants 30 millions, with these new investments they will become the club that has spent more money in signings.
