Here I am going to list down some key points for general social network sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Orkut, MySpace etc
1. Before making new Friends or contacts, make sure you have filled up your profile completely, along with the information like -
Nature of Business, contact details, you interests, hobbies etc
2. Add the person of same interests or business. Look for friends of friends; they might also into same profession, interests or business
Do not add contacts with out any message, message them -
“I liked your profile/video/blog… want to know more about ‘any topic’”
“I am big fan of yours and would love to add you into my network list”
3. Search for similar area groups or communities and add them into your profile.
4. Take the Myspace, Orkut and Facebook recommendation of new friends. They suggest based on your existing contact list.
5. Start building the relationship, get to know their interests, Keep an eye on your friend’s updates and comment on their blogs, scraps, videos etc
Build a reputation with your contact lists, also update and polish your profile regularly.
6. Create a group, once you have 200-300 followers, Brief them about the group first and send an invitation to your contact list
7. Be regular to visit your own profile. The success of Internet marketing is consistency. Give 45-60 minutes, if you are new, mark your calendar for regular
Visits or Make a check list of your daily internet marketing tasks or magnetic sponsoring strategy.
